Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design Revealed

Huawei Mate 9 has been officially unveiled at an event held in Munich, Germany. This event has unfolded a few surprises which surely grabbed the hearts of fans. Apart from expected Mate 9, Huawei has also revealed a higher variant Mate 9 Porsche Design and it proved to be showstopper. Mate 9 Porsche Design has stunning look and amazing features than the standard Mate 9 edition.

Design:

Huawei is playing nicely in marketing odds with their partnerships with known brands. Their partnership with Leica, a famous German brand, have manufactured few stunning cameras in previous Huawei’s smartphones. This time connecting with Porsche Design, to produce state of the art stunning Mate 9 Porsche Design, which has race car looks. This design will surely attract the hearts of car fans.

Mate 9 Porsche Design has astonishing features than the standard Mate 9. First of all, Mate 9 Porsche Design has stunning look in 5.5-inch display screen, smaller than the Mate 9. But a higher QHD (2560 X 1440) resolution in amazing AMOLED Display with curved edges. Porsche Design is also engraved on front of Mate 9 Porsche Design edition. The dimensions of the device are 152 (h) x 75 (w) x 7.5 (d) mm and weighs 169g, less than the standard model.

Hardware:

Mate 9 Porsche Design has few hardware improvements than the base edition. It has a bigger RAM (6GB) and almost double storage capacity (256 GB). It shares the same SoC which is featured in standard edition. Mate 9 Porsche Design has Leica-branded camera with a 12MP color sensor and a 20MP black & white sensor at Back, with 8-megapixels front camera as well. The latest Kirin chipset is capable of capturing videos at 4K 2160p resolution.

Mate 9 Porsche Design will be running Android Nougat OS with the latest EMUI 5.0. It has 4000mAh battery, which seems to be more than enough for 5.5-inch smartphone. Huawei also introduces a new battery charging technology, named SuperCharge, which will provide enough charging for full day usage in 20 minutes.

Price and Availability:

Mate 9 Porsche Design’s announced price is nearly enough to buy a Porsche Car, So, it is better to save few bucks before its availability. Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design will cost you only €1,395 ($1,545). This premium handset will be available in late half of December in the European Porsche Design Stores and in January, next year, in Porsche Design Stores worldwide (aside from the US) and selected Huawei stores in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
