Google Pixel and Pixel XL Unveiled

Google has officially unveiled its new smartphones, Google Pixel and Pixel XL, at an event held in San Francisco. With the launch of Pixel, Google has officially saying Good Bye to the Nexus name. Pixel may be new name for few but certainly not for Google fans as Google first used the Pixel name for its Chromebook Pixel Laptops. Google has launched the Pixel and Pixel with the statement “made by Google”. Although Pixel is made by Taiwanese Brand HTC, but HTC will not enjoy any limelight as Google has decided to launch Pixel with its own Name. Google will solely enjoy the rights of selling Pixel and Pixel XL.

Display and Performance:

Google Pixel and Pixel XL have quite astonishing specifications. Google is promising great user experience through Pixel and Pixel XL. Pixels will be featured with Android Nougat 7.1 along with Google Assistant, which is Google’s AI based software provides great user experience. Pixel share 5-Inch FHD Display, while Google Pixel XL is featuring with 5.5-Inch QHD Display. Both have 4 GB of RAM and have 32 GB / 128 GB storage capacity along with facility of external storage as well. Also Google is offering unlimited Cloud storage for Photos and videos including 4K Videos to Pixel owners. Both have quad-Core processors to provide fast performance to the Users.

Camera and Battery:

Google is also promising a great photography experience for Pixel users. Google has termed Pixel Camera as the best phone camera, stating that the Pixel has received a rating of 89 on DxOMark, the highest awarded to any phone till today. The Pixels have a 12MP rear camera with an f/2.0 lens and 8 MP front camera as well. To provide a longer running time to smartphones, Google has planted relatively bigger batteries in Pixels. Pixel is featuring 2750 mAh battery, while Pixel Xl have 3450 mAh battery.

Pre-orders have been started from today (Oct, 04). Pricing starts at $649 for the 5-inch Pixel with 32GB of storage, and up to $749 with 128GB of storage. Pixel XL will be yours for $769 with 32GB, or $869 for the XL with 128GB. These phones are officially unveiled in three color, which are black or silver or blue.
