OPPO A57 with 3GB RAM, 13MP Selfie Camera Unveiled in China

OPPO has unveiled a mid-range device A57 in China with decent specs. OPPO, who recently launched two high end smartphones R9s and R9s Plus, has now unveiled a mid-range smartphone, to provide a tough time to its competitors. With its sensational front camera i.e. 13-megapixels and 3GB RAM along with 32GB ROM, it proves to be a decent offering by OPPO, despite its below par chipset.

Design and Hardware:

OPPO A57 packs in a familiar OPPO device design. It has a home button at the bottom of the front view integrated with Fingerprint sensor and the power button is placed on right edge while the volume buttons are placed on the left edge of the device. OPPO A57 has a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display screen with a decent resolution of 720×1280. The device comes with Android Marshmallow and OPPO’s Color OS 3.0 UI is laid over it.

Well the chipset is little below par as it supports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.4GHz, along with the super-fast 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, with a microSD card slot provide up to 128GB expandable storage. The smartphone also has a 16-megapixels rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF laser focus and the front-facing shooter in 13-megapixels. The phone is packed with decent 2900mAh battery, which can provide a good back up to your routine jobs.

OPPO A57 will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colors. According to reports, the device will be offered for sale starting on 12 December in China. The official price of OPPO A57 is CNY 1,599 ($231, PKR 24,250). The global release of OPPO A57 is expected with details coming at a later date.
