Because the phones these days are very smart & intelligent and maintains their own “Battery Management System”. This system stops charging when device is fully charged. The only concerning thing would be the Low quality chargers or the Phone Case is very poorly built.
Myth: Always Use Official Charger
This notion was spread by phone companies and brands to sell out their accessories. This is more like a marketing stunt than a myth and usually it’s not for your phone health. In fact, the charger comes with the phone is always a best charger for your phone. But this does not mean that you cannot use an “Off-Brand” charger at all. Good Off-Brand chargers will fulfill your charging needs very well.Truth:
The truth is you can charge your phone with an Off-Brand charger and it will give you satisfactory results. But this third party charger should be good one and manufactured by following the standard procedures.Caution:
While buying a third party charger, you should pay attention to the quality of the charger. Low-Quality charger may save your few pennies, but this will upset your device in a very bad way. Because these low-quality chargers are not built by following standard procedures. In case if you don’t have access to official brand store, than always try to buy the phone accessories from reputable third parties.
Myth: Never Use your Phone while it Charges
This is also a very common myth that using a phone during charge may impose negative impacts on the phone e.g. it may heat up the phone, as a result of which the phone may explode or catch fire. This notion is also false and probably circulated by those who do not have any know how of the smartphones.Truth:
You can use your phone while it is charging and there is no harm in it. Your phone will be charged normally whether you are using it or not. The point of concern would be that you are not using low-quality charger.
Myth: Only Charge your phone when it’s dead
This myth is quite right for old Battery Types like Nickel cadmium or nickel-metal hydride batteries, which forgot their full capacity if you not completely discharge them before charging again. Now, these batteries are not used any more or rarely used in phones these days. So, this myth is also false for modern phones.Truth:
The truth is you can charge phone whenever you want, without the need of completely discharging it. These days, Lithium Ion batteries are used in the phones, which are smarter and have no issues like the older battery types have. The best practice is to keep battery between 40 to 80%, as described by the various smartphone experts.
