Samsung W2017 Unveiled in China
Samsung has introduced a new high end flip Android smartphone, named W2017 in China. There are still many admirers of FLIP phone design and over the years Samsung has introduced few flip smartphones. W2017 is the latest entry in flip phones and it is truly a high-end smartphone with amazing hardware specifications. Below is the design and hardware specificaions of W2017.
Design:
W2017 has a decent flip design featuring outer and inner display screens. W2017 is featuring a 4.2-inch Super AMOLED display screen at amazing full HD 1080p resolution, providing a stunning pixel density ratio. The dimensions of the phone are 127.8 x 61.4 x 15.8mm and it weighs 208g, seems reasonable for a flip phone.
Performance:
As we mentioned earlier, it is a truly high-end smartphone with its mind blowing hardware specifications. W2017 is powered by a powerful Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and have the option of expandable storage up to 256GB in form of microSD.
W2017 is running Android Marshmallow (Version 6.0.1). There's no word on a possible Android 7.0 Nougat update yet. The flip phone supports the dual-SIM functionality, as well as 4G LTE connectivity.
Camera and Battery:
The camera specifications are decent and will provide a decent photography experience to the users. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture size with the option of amazing 4K video recording, while the front facing shooter is 5-megapixel for selfies. The battery capacity seems more than enough while looking at its display size, as it is powered by a 2,300mAh battery, with fast charging capability.
Price and Availability:
W2017 will be available in two colors Black and Gold. It will be released in China for now, availability in other countries is still un-announced by Samsung. The official price is still not revealed but looking at the specifications of flip phone, it is expected to be high price model.
