Why iPhone are Expensive
The question that why Apple iPhone are so expensive, seems to be very reasonable and valid. Because an Apple iPhone 6, which was released in 2014, has 1 GB of RAM, Dual Core processor and priced around about $700. While android smartphones released in 2014 are providing 3 GB of RAM, Quad Core Processor and priced around about $500. Despite being expensive and having fewer features, Apple has sold more than 75 million units of iPhones last year, which clearly shows the popularity of iPhone. Because specifications alone does not guarantee that this particular phone is better than the other. Another important aspect is performance, in which Apple iPhone performs better than the most of the android smartphones. We will try to figure out the reasons of costly iPhone.
Apple offers to Repair “Touch Disease” in iPhone 6 Plus for $149
Apple has introduced a support program for iPhone 6 Plus owners, which is offering to repair “Touch Disease” found in iPhone 6 Plus devices. But the phone owner has to pay $149 to repair the device. Prior to this support program, Apple is used to forcing the customers to buy a new iPhone device instead of fixing Touch Disease. Although, Apple has started the repair program for infected devices, but refused to consider it a manufacturing defect, instead claimed it owner’s mistake.
