Huawei Announced List of Phones, which will be Updated to Nougat
Huawei has announced a list of phones, which will be update to Nougat, the latest Android OS. It seems to be slow going in adoption of Nougat by phone companies as the latest OS released by Google in August, is running on handful of smartphones these days. Sony, LG, HTC and few other brands have recently released Nougat version for some of their devices. Huawei has also released a list of smartphones which will be updated to stable version of Nougat soon and to remind you, recently announced phablet Mate 9 will be shipped with built-in Nougat.
List of Phones:
According to announced list of smartphones, following will be updated to Nougat.
The High end smartphones Mate 8 and P9 will be the first devices to enjoy the Nougat update and the rest of the devices in the list will get update few weeks later.
Apart from stable Nougat update, Huawei had already released beta version of Nougat for Honor 8. With the update to Nougat, the Huawei devices will get EMUI 5.0, which is highly praised by critics. The new EMUI 5.0 has its own App Drawer, which will give Huawei devices more Android feel.
Most of Huawei's own preloaded apps have been given a complete visual overhaul, with white backdrops, light grey accents and blue highlights. And the newly included darker notification shade, is more customizable than ever on Huawei smartphones.
However, this list does not feature few other high end Android smartphones e.g. Mate S and P8. It’s not known whether Huawei will add a few more models to this list or not.
