How to hide computer name and user name in terminal command prompt
As developer its really annoying for me every time some extra information being shown on screen so to hide computer name and user name in terminal command prompt you should one of run following command.
To show current folder only temporarily run
$ export PS1="\W \$"To show just prompt permanently permanently run
echo "export PS1='$ '" >> ~/.bash_profile
